Iceland is an island 103.000 km2 in the middle of the north atlantic ocean between Greenland and Europe. The capital Reykjavik has a population of 113.000. The island is covered with 11.900 km2 glaciers.
Iceland is unique due to it’s geothermal activities, like volcanos, hot springs, which supplies the country with electricity and hot water for heating.
